"Uncle" Daniel Scotten

As described beginning on p.117 of Amy Elliott Bragg's Hidden History of Detroit, Daniel Scotten seems like a model Mythic Detroiter. He was a self-made millionaire, practiced philanthropy on a daily basis, and was a bit of an eccentric. He definitely calls for further research.
